Low loaders are multi-functional: they can be used to transport implements and other machines, but also straw.
They are fitted with a reinforced chassis, floor crosspieces, as well as two loading ramps with hydraulic folding system.
The rear side of the floor (in wood or chequered plate) is tilted on approx. 1 m to load the machines more easily.
Two telescopic supporting stands, with mechanical folding system (hydraulic as an option), are standard mounted at the back of the vehicle and ensure a very good stability during manoeuvres.
The trailed low loader offers the possibility to completely lower the floor to easily load and transport implements or other machines by means of a double acting hydraulic stand (60 cm course) and two hydraulic rams at the back.
In lowered position, the floor is 18 cm high and 69 cm on the road (with standard wheels).
It is therefore easier to transport implements, like aerators and meadow aerators or even sand spreaders.
This bale trailer is offered with a 5 or 6 m length and a wooden floor of 40 mm thick.
As an option, it is possible to add two ladders (straight at the front - rounded at the back).
The Hauswirth bale trailers and low loaders benefit from an increased hitching comfort thanks to the sprung drawbar for models with 360° turntable and the stand for semi-mounted ones.
The construction is based on the Hauswirth design with a chassis with homogeneous strains working in the tensile limit of the steel, which ensures a maximisation of the payload.
The front running gear is made up of an axle on a 360° turntable with a diameter higher than 100 cm, with half-tandem driving.
A 4 cm edge and a floor in chequered plate make sure the load is held very efficiently.
The load is homogeneously distributed over all axles (2/3) and the 4/6 wheels are braked.
It is possible to fit the bale trailer with wider wheels (up to 55 cm) thanks to the design of our narrow chassis.
