Our trailed bale trailers are fitted with two separate running gears: one single axle on a 360° turntable at the front, which ensures a shorter steering angle and easy manoeuvres (Ø above 100 cm) and a single or double axle (standard tandem suspension) at the back, depending on the model.
All axles are standard fitted with the hydraulic braking system (except on 100T20 and 120T20) and the drawbar is fitted with a spring to hold it in high position.
The Hauswirth bale trailers and low loaders benefit from an increased hitching comfort thanks to the sprung drawbar for models with 360° turntable.
The construction is based on the Hauswirth design with a chassis with homogeneous strains working in the tensile limit of the steel, which ensures a maximisation of the payload.
The front running gear is made up of an axle on a 360° turntable with a diameter higher than 100 cm, with half-tandem driving.
A 4 cm edge, a floor in chequered plate and 2 reels to fasten and tighten the cords make sure the load is held very efficiently.
The load is homogeneously distributed over all axles (2/3) and the 4/6 wheels are braked.
A secured box with lock can be mounted on the trailer in order to store the tools, documents and accessories you may need.
It is possible to fit the bale trailer with wider wheels (up to 55 cm) thanks to the design of our narrow chassis.
The loading capacity can be increased with this hydraulic rear extension of 1.10 m (on 3-axle model/10 m long).
